I am a bit embarrassed to admit that it is almost impossible for me to leave Sephora empty-handed. Often, i would question my self-control. But have you ever had that moment where all you needed was a concealer and you ended up leaving the store with a brand new liquid lipstick, a blusher, a mascara, facial masks, highlighters, hair sprays…… I would say i am an impulse buyer and that is not a good thing because i’d end up overspending on things i don’t really need. It is a fatal disease really, at least, for my bank account.
The best way to put an end to this is by buying the things i do need from their online store. At least, that is what i have been telling myself. By buying things online, i get to take my own sweet time in making my decisions. I get to do a little research and read some reviews about the product. These are so that i could be certain about buying something and making sure that it won’t end up sitting on my vanity table.
A few days ago, i went online to stock up some things i love from Sephora but I ended up with a few other things :
The Alpha H Liquid Gold
I needed a good exfoliator for my face and after reading tons of good reviews for this product, i decided to make the purchase! Unlike the traditional exfoliator, this is the chemical one. I reckon, it is meant for sensitive skins. All i need to do is just dab some on my face with a cotton before i go to bed and voila, a glowing face (At least that is what the reviewers are saying)
It is said that the Liquid Gold could diminish wrinkles, pigmentation and sun damage and i believe, it helps in clearing up your acne scars as well.
Alpha H Liquid Gold Body Clothes
I needed something for my body as well and i reckon, since everyone loved the liquid gold product, i would give this a try as well.
Sadly, i am suffering from Keratosis Pilaris and it is mainly visible on my legs — one of my greatest insecurities. And i needed something that has AHA to scrub my body and this should work. Some said it could reduce KP and i am looking forward to it!
Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette
I wanted to try something else besides Becca and after swatching it, i knew i needed it. Beautiful! And the best thing is, it’s so easy to blend and it won’t give you that blotchy kind of mess on your face.
ABH Clear Brow Gel
I must have watched too many vogue beauty secrets video series on youtube to realise that brow gel is something i need to keep my eyebrows in place and ‘upward’. Surely, i wouldn’t end up looking like Emily Ratajkowski but oh well, this could be a waste of money but let’s just see if it isn’t.
Becca Backlight Primer
This will be my second bottle and i must say, it is by far, my favourite primer ever! On most days, i would only use this product and some concealer and i am good to go. It leaves my skin looking so healthy — that luminous glow that i am obsessed with! A must must buy.
Kopari Coconut Lip Glossy
I love everything that has coconut in it. My lips can be really dry and this really leaves my lips looking so smooth and moisturised and glossy.
Stila Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow
Gave this a try when i was in Sephora and i loved the glitter. I am not precisely sure how to use it just yet without looking like a three year old with glittery mess all over her face but i am a bit excited to give it a try. I bought this in a shade of “Kitten Karma”.
Come to think of it, perhaps, buying things online don’t truly make me wiser in spending because i don’t know why i bought these falsies. I am not much of a falsies person but i am a bit curious to see how this works out. I did try putting on falsies once and it fell off when i was talking to someone……..
Unfortunately, some of the products i see online aren’t available in store but you could always head over to Sephora’s website and make the purchase.
