If you are planning for a visit, here are some instagrammable places in Kuala Lumpur.
Perhaps, I am biased but Kuala Lumpur has got to be one of my favourite cities in the world. I love how our majestic twinnies would peek from between the gaps of towering buildings; I love how beautiful the city is at night when the streets are vacant and accompanied only by street lights and neon. Although, the thing that I love most would be the food. I am sure it is somewhat a must for most to find places that are “Instagrammable” when travelling nowadays.
THEAN HOU TEMPLE , KUALA LUMPUR
Every inch of the temple is simply beautiful. I am sure in a way or another, you must have come across a few photos of fellow tourists or locals at this very spot. It is one of the oldest and largest temples in Southeast Asia and truly, a must visit. The best part is there is no entrance fee. Try to arrive in the morning or late evening for a crowd-free pictures.
LAKE GARDENS, KUALA LUMPUR
If you are keen for an evening stroll, lake gardens is a beautiful place to go and of course, it is one of the most famous spots for photographers. Surrounded by the greenery, this place kind of reminds me of Bali.
CENTRAL MARKET, KUALA LUMPUR
Central market is a popular tourist attraction and a landmark for Malaysian culture and heritage. This is where you could find souvenirs and also, nice spots to photograph for your instagram feed.
THE STREETS OF KUALA LUMPUR
Kuala Lumpur has pretty astounding buildings that are picturesque. Just try not stand in the middle of the road…even when the light is red.
KUALA LUMPUR FOREST ECO PARK
Another most visited spot in Kuala Lumpur and i can’t blame them. It’s gorgeous. It is nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
THE SWIMMING CLUB
If you fancy the city view whilst savouring your cocktail or some snacks, this place is a must visit! It has the LA vibe and every inch of the corner is instagrammable.
SULTAN ABDUL SAMAD BUILDING
The beautiful historical building. Need i say more? Look at how gorgeous it is.
LISETTE’S CAFE, KUALA LUMPUR
Lisette has got to be one of my favourite cafes in Kuala Lumpur that happens to be instagram worthy too! Head over for some wonderful pastries. It is like killing two birds in one stone.
ASTANA MOROCCO, PUTRAJAYA
It is not in Kuala Lumpur but Putrajaya has plentiful to offer when it comes to your instagram feed. Head to Astana Morocco in Taman Botani for a Morrocan feel. The entrance is free but there is an area which you need to pay to enter (About RM8) and you are not allowed to bring your DSLR in.
SERI GEMILANG BRIDGE , PUTRAJAYA
Putrajaya is famous for its beautiful bridges. Head to Seri Gemilang bridge to have a little glimpse of what Paris looks like. Besides Seri Gemilang, Putrajaya has a lot to offer. Unique buildings and man-made lake, it is the place to be if you are into photography.
BATU CAVES, KUALA LUMPUR
Of course, the most instagrammable place in Kuala Lumpur would be the colourful steps of Batu Caves. Try to arrive early in the morning to avoid the crowds!
